keeping lo cool

its really warm in our area right now and we don't have ac because its not like this that often... any pointers on how to keep her more comfortable?  she's super fussy and unhappy right now.  i gave her a sponge bath last night before bed but that didn't help much.  i'm also worried about dehydration with the heat.

    If it gets really hot in your house put a wet hat on LOs head. We had her at an outdoor event and it ended up getting pretty hot.  DH poured a bottled water on one of her hats, wringed it out and slapped it on her head.  She cooled off immediately.  She was much happier.

    Its been really warm here too. I try: 1) keeping ds in just a onesie 2) fans 3)baths 4)a wet burp cloth on his head or wherever and 5) if its bad enough a trip to the mall or target or another place that is usually kept cool can help.

    i rolled up a wet washcloth and have the fan pointed at us right on the bed and took her onesie off- its helping a bit more then before.
