Sore on LO's penis

Today we noticed a little sore-like thing on LO's penis.  It kind of just looks like a little raw spot, but it's a circular shape (not raised at all though).  He has a bit of diaper rash on his butt and read that this might be localized diaper rash - but I'm not sure.

I don't think it's an emergency or anything, or I'd call the pediatrician.  We do have an appointment on wednesday that we may wait for unless it gets worse or scarier looking.  Any idea on what this might be or what we should do?

    My son had something like this when he was teeny tiny like your DS.  I don't remember what it ended up being.  Maybe irritation due to his little bell thing falling off after his circumsicion.  My pedi said to not worry about it unless you could tell it was hurting him.  I'd wait until Wed. unless it bothers him.

    try putting aquaphor on it. p had one once (not sure what it was), and we put aquaphor on it. it was gone the next morning.
