I'm off on Fridays with DS and I want to go to a mommy and me type group. Does anyone know of any in the Delco area- hopefully on Fridays? TIA!

I was thinking about joining that Delco Mommies Group!

I've been emailing with Anita (its founder, I guess?) for the past few days.

Is it a fun group to belong to?

It seems like they always have events. Some catered towards the older kids, though. I just started looking at the events since I'm on break.

DS and I to the Springfield Library for Creative Babies. It's for birth-2. DS really likes it.

Where do I find the group? Sounds like fun.

DH is a SAHD and takes our little guy to the Springfield Library for creative babies and they really enjoy it. I am off Friday afternoons so I would love to find something for DS and I to do together and give DH a break.

I have been looking for something too. I actually was just looking at that Delco group the other day along with a mom club group. I find a lot of groups have activities more for toddlers, which doesn't help me yet.

The woman from the group who I was emailing with said there were lots of little ones (under a year) when I asked her about it & told her that my (only) daughter is only 9 months old. It seems promising.

Its $10/year. I'm thinking I may join.

Carolina - I was going to page you because I was pretty sure you lived in Delco. We are selling our house and most likely moving to Havertown!

We figured our lives wouldn't be stressful enough with an active toddler and an infant coming any day so why not try to sell our house and move too?

So I might be joining you ladies in this delco moms group in a few months!
