Which stroller should I take? umbrella, full-size, jogging
(FWIW - I'll have the Ergo with us)
How many toys? I think I'll just fill up one bag of small toys that he can play with in the car. Hopefully they will suffice for the whole week. He'll have his sand toys too.
Anything else random that would be really useful I might be forgetting? Obviously I'm packing more than a stroller & toys, I'm just thinking of anything extra that I might have forgotten...
Re: Help! Last Minute Beach Packing ?s...
Stroller: that's a tough one. If you don't mind him getting sun, then I would take the umbrella one (b/c it's light and takes up little room) If you plan to stroll him on the beach, then I would take the jogging stroller. I'm not much help, huh.
Toys: I have no clue on that one!
Extras: Anything to keep him entertained in the car. Does he have a special CD of music or stories he likes? What about books? Snacks?
Have fun!!
are you staying the night somewhere? The only thing we forgot was a nightlight--we were all in one room and wanted a little bit of light to help us see when we crawled into bed. We did think ahead and brought some outlet covers and we were SO glad we did--he was definitely into trying them out.
I agree--snacks, entertainment stuff. We took our lightweight stroller but only used it around the hotel, not at the beach.
GL and have fun!!
You girls got me thinking...I won't take the jogging stroller because I do NOT want sand everywhere. We have a hiking backpack carrier that we might use since the house we're staying in is 2nd row. Plus it has a big zippered pocket that I can throw some of J's things in.
The only thing we'll use the stroller for is if we go shopping one day...J isn't very comfy in the umbrella stroller, but it takes up so much less room. I may have to decide once we get everything in the car & see how much space we have left.
Who knew 1 kid could "need" so much stuff?!?!
