I will flat out admit that I notice it, but that's about the extent of it. I don't know that they aren't a nail tech themselves, or have a friend who does it for them for free. It's not MY place to determine how they use their time and money.

I have been known to trade services with friends/acquaintances. Example: my uncles gf is a hairdresser. I told them I would watch the kids (she has 2, he has 2) while they go catch a movie or whatever. I get my hair done for free and it just cost me a couple hours of babysitting. I'm not on assistance (I've tried, I don't qualify) so I do what I can to cut corners. I wish he was still dating that one. le sigh
"I get mad when they have 6 kids running in the store and 3 shopping carts full of food. DH and I are barely making it. Flame away"
EXACTLY THIS! My comment was not necessarily directly at EFLO it was more so to people being on welfare, unemployment, any kind of assistance and are just working the system. I have read several posts where EFLO has interviewed for jobs and what not....I even think she worked at WalMart for awhile. If anything I typed was taken towards EFLO I apologize to her and anyone else who maybe have found it offensive. My problem is not with those that need the system, but with those that take advantage of it...where is the sense of pride? There has to be some limit on the amount of help people can get...yes, everyone is entitled to live their life the way they choose and if in the meantime you need a little help, then so be it...that is what the system is for, but don't ride the system and have kid after kid and sit at home all day. I love my child and want nothing more than to be home with him 24/7, but I HAVE to work to pay our bills...
The EFLO situation is somewhat different...she seems to be trying to get a job...I believe she has her nursing degree for Christ's sake!
Re: Everyone who agreed w/ K, a question for you.
