i'm just realizing that my yearly appt. i made weeks ago will land right during that critical time. i pretty much made the appt. on the day i'll ovulate (approx, of course).
isn't the rule: 'no intercourse 24 hours before your appointment'? i'm thinking maybe having sex about 12-18 hours before won't be a big deal (we can just have sex anytime we want w/a 2 year old running around).
sorry if this is a lame post.
Re: my yearly is scheduled close the ovulation...
oops, i meant 'we can't just have sex anytime we want.....' lol
I have always been told by my doctor to make my annual ob/gyn appts around CD7 of my cycle. SBEs are easier at that time (and your breasts are less tender) plus it doesn't interfere with the 'intercourse rule' when you're TTC, since most women generally do not ovulate near CD7.
THIS, but worst case scenerio, you will get a false irregular pap and you will know why. Your doc will just redo the pap and it will (should) come back normal (unless it would have been irregular anyways).
I would go at it like normal and see what happens.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Everything will probably be fine. I personally would rather pay my $20 copay twice rather than not get pregnant for another month. Seems like a small price to pay considering what I spend on OPKs, HPTs, etc. That is just me though.
