Has anyone ever ordered a singing telegram/impersonator?

Today is my dad's b-day and my mom hired someone to show up at his work (he works for Harley Davidson) and embarass him. My dad is a pretty straight laced guy, but has a good sense of humor. Hopefully it turns out funny and not just stupid. We called his employees to let them know what's up and they thought it sounded funny since he's always so serious at work.

Has anyone ever done something similar? The guy is supposed to show up dressed as a gorilla and give a quck 15 min. roast of my dad type of thing.

My mom called me this morning paranoid that he's gonna be some drunk jackasss in a monkey suit lol!

My mom did this to me for my 17th birthday. I worked at a gym and was thoroughly embarassed.

I hired an Elvis impersonator for a friend's birthday once. I actually had to meet him in a parking lot to pay him, which sounds really fishy, but he showed up and embarrassed her like a champ!

I did this for an uptight literary agent a few years ago, and it went over pretty well actually....and it was a guy in a monkey suit!

Some teachers I work with and I hired a barbershop quartet to come sing for our secretaries. They had special little songs for all three of the ladies that had their names and what they did and how the school would fall apart without them. It was cute and everybody had a good laugh.
