Constipation Help!!

What do you do when your baby is constipated, but won't eat anything. He'll drink his milk just fine, but when we try to feed him prunes or something, he won't eat. He's been grunting trying to get his poop out, but nothing has come. Any ideas?

    Prunes, pears and peaches make poop, hee - what about trying pear juice, or apple/pear juice (Gerber makes both, not sure if anyone else does)?  Avz already suggested prune juice - any of those helped T a lot when she was constipated.

    My pedi recommended a tsp of dark Karo syrup in 2ozs of milk / formula and it would work like a charm everytime.

    Thanks Amanda! I'm definitely trying this. He's never been too thrilled about juices.
