Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Anyone watch last night's 16 and Pregnant?

Anyone else cry like crazy??

I felt so bad for those poor kids, making such a tough decision. Also, I wasn't a big fan of the adoptive mom until the end when she got them all the matching bracelets.

I am excited to see the reunion show next week.?

  • I bawled through the whole thing:) I'd be in the looney bin.

  • Yes and I cried through the entire show.  Those kids really made a hard decision, but they knew that their daughter would be better with another family.  That shows how mature they really are.

I wanted to smack both of the parents for being such jerks to them!!!

  • I truly thought she wasn't going to give them the baby.  I cannot even fathom how had that must have been.

How about that letter from the father?  Wow. I agree with the PP shows a ton of maturity

  • Yes, I cried my @ss off and the whole time thought 'there is something wrong with me!' None of the other 16&P's got me but that's because those kids were morons. These kids realized they couldn't pull it together and made such a tough decision. With about 10 minutes left I was all 'if they decide to keep the baby I'm going to punch my TV.' Thank god they went through with it! Just wait until the reunion next week...I'll be sure to have the tissues handy!

And I missed the reason they couldn't do the hand off on hospital grounds. Can anyone fill me in? I found it humorous that they had to walk 2 blocks away!

  • They couldn't do the hand off there because the mom of the girl having the baby had to sign a consent form (I guess since she was under 18??) and the mom refused to do it!!

I couldn't believe the mom, calling her daughter a bi*** and not supporting her. I mean, she wouldn't take care of her own daughter but wanted to keep her granddaughter? I'm so glad that the kids went through with the adoption!!?

  • lol i was crying like a baby. and DH walked in and said whats wrong and all i could say was "the baby" and he thought i ment LO. I wasnt a big fan of the adoptive mom either.. but then you have to think how weird it would be to be doing it all on tv. and i dont think id be to open when cameras were around either.  i CANT imagen how tough it has to be to go through with that and not have your family support your decision. that has to be hard.

I, too, cant wait until the reunion!! im addicted to this show i cant wait till season 2. (i told dh this and he said do you realise that you are saying you cant wait until more 16 yr olds get pregnant and go through it all on tv)

  • that show made me cry last night. It was my 1st time watching that show & probably my last. I went to that high school too...there was always a lot of pregnant girls. That town is in the sticks.

That's what I thought. Ridiculous...what she wanted a granddaughter that she could randomly call a b!tch as well? She didn't get enough of it with her own daughter? Good for those kids sticking up for themselves! And yeah, I can't imagine how nervous the adoptive parents were. They probably led a very low key life and then all of a sudden this teen who is filming a show for MTV wants them to be the adoptive parents. Probably threw them for a loop. I actually liked the mom a lot - thought she handled the whole thing very well. And they're right - the dad is kinda a dork! :)

  • I bawled my eyes out too. I was feeding LO and my DH came in and was like hmmmm why are you crying, nothing is wrong with Olivia. Its harder for me, though, my sis gave up a child for adoption, so watching that just reminded me of everything about that again. Such a hard, although noble, decision to make.

This exactly!!! DH just looked at me like I was crazy because I could not stop crying.

  • I bawled like a baby.  But I actually wanted her to keep the baby.  Even though I know she made the absolute best decision for herself, her boyfriend, and her beautiful girl, I still wanted her to change her mind.

I know, it's crazy.  There really wasn't anything wrong with the adoptive parents or anything; they actually seemed pretty nice.  But I just really wanted it to all work out for her.

It was an emotional rollercoaster, for sure.  I had to flip to Issac Mizrahi's show on Bravo in between to liven myself back up.  So sad.

I don't think I can watch the reunion show.  The other girls need a big fat slap and I can't watch the girl from last night.  She is far more mature than I ever could have dreamed of being at 16, or even 20 for that matter!
