Everyone tells you how fast it will go by, but until you see it happening you can't understand. The good part is that you will actually love him more every day than you did the day before. And they are soooo much fun once they get a little bigger.

Ditto this...
It reallly is bittersweet seeing them grow up so fast! But this age is so much fun, we are guaranteed a laugh every single day.
Ditto pps. It really is bittersweet. I miss dd being so tiny (she's still small, but you know what I mean!), but she is so much fun right now! I just love watching her grow and learn new things every day. Just wait till he starts smiling and coo/gooing at you...
Every stage and milestone helps you accept the fact that they're growing because you get to learn more about your LO. Your DS is adorable! Congratulations!
I hear ya...I was looking at pictures last night from when Harper was born and wanted to go back to that day...freeze that moment in time. It makes me sad that a month has flown by and it seems like just yesterday she was born. But I tell myself...if growing means more sleep...I *guess* I can accept it.
I wish I knew. When DD was smaller I couldn't wait for her to rollover, crawl, etc now I want her to go back to being tiny. I also cried my eyes out last night, thankfully DH was at the gym so he didn't see me. LOL
It definitely does get better every day! They become your little pal! My little man is the absolute sweetest and makes me smile every moment!! I do look back at pictures and see just how precious he looked, but they're so much fun as they start talking, etc. I felt the same way as you, though! I wanted to contain every moment and not let it pass!!
seriously though - i watch Sydney's birth slideshow all the time - it some days when i'm carrying her heavy behind around, i can't even remember her being that small!!
Re: How do you make them stop growing?
