designed for more than one child to be in them ever? ?(Besides the Graco 'twin bassinet' feature, which then says only one child should be in the regular pack-n-play anyway and I know that one has been talked to death on this board!)
?I have very limited space in my townhome and cannot fit 2 separate ones in our living room, so I'm having a really hard time figuring out?what to get where I can put them to nap or just chill out in the living room occasionally... ?

This is what we did too -- just moved 'em down a level when the dip started.
The Arm's Reach Original Cosleeper can be used as a playard and does have a 40lb weight limit. If you're looking for more area you could get this one:
