Hello New Mommies. DH and I are starting to register for things and buy things on our own for our first baby. My question is, (in your opinion) how many onesies, pants, socks, pajamas, mittens, hats, etc should I have in the begining when I bring my LO home?
I would like to be stocked up, but I don't want to buy and/or register for 20 onesies when I only need 10 (for example).
I figure you ladies would be the perfect ones to ask. Thanks!.![]()
Re: Visiting from 2nd Tri...question
In leiu of onesies we used a lot of the gerber ZIPPY jammies, they come in a 3 pack I think. The zippers are nice vs snaps when you are sleep deprived.
Don't register for ANY clothes, bibs, pants, socks, etc. You will get so many you'll be over stocked with them!
That is my advice.
Yeah, don't register for clothes. Depends how often you want to do laundry. I'd say your best bet is getting a lot more sleepers than onesies with it being fall. Onesies are great though if you keep your house really warm in those months.
It also depends how much LO spits up. My LO doesn't really spit up a whole lot, and we always have a bib on him after he eats...so he generally wears the same thing all day. He wears sleepers on cooler days in the house and a onesie to bed under his SwaddleMe blanket. He rarely wears socks unless we go out shopping.
