2 Month Shots

DS had his 2 month shots today.  I think it was worse on me than him.  I hate seeing him in pain. He has slept most of the day.  While he is sleeping though, he cries out in pain.  It literally breaks my heart.  I can't believe I have to go through this again at 4 months.  Hope it gets easier.

    Have you given him Tylenol? ?I gave DS tylenol before and then every 4 hours after the shots for the 1st day.

    Sorry your LO is having trouble!  

    Everyone has to choose the right path for them but we chose to break up the shots. He had 2 of the 5 vaccinations on last Friday. No crying - 5 seconds of fussy face and then happily went back to sucking on the paci. No swelling of the leg. No fever. No pain.

    Although, his appetite was decreased for a few days. His nap times have been off, and he has been slightly more fussy. He has also started to skip his 1a feeding and go straight through from 7p until 6a

    We'll do the other three vaccinations a month from now. Hopefully, it will be as smooth as this time.
