before DD was born i was an ophthalmologist's assistant, and i stumbled across it right after college. it was interesting and fairly good money. but i have my undergraduate degree in psychology (developmental and abnormal emphasis) and was going to go back to get my masters but we had DD! so now i SAHM and will go back to school at another time.

Administration, and it happened completely out of the blue. DH proposed to me at the end of college when I had been planning on taking a consultant or banking job offer in Cali or NYC. Marrying DH meant moving to Alabama, so I asked my advisor to hook me up with a job in the area. Voila.

CNA. It is suppose to give me experience for nursing. Too bad I switched my major but it pays better than another other job now so I'm stuck. I'll be done with school next summer so I'll be done with it. Then I can have my grown up 9-5 job.

Mother and Wife extraordinare. Or, if I choose to go back to the rat race, Systems Analyst/Software Consultant. How did I come across it? Well, I was a single mom, got a full ride scholarship to college, and had to pick a major. I wanted one that would pay well, so that was that.

Clinical Psychologist working in forensics. I took a legal psych class in undergrad and knew it was what I wanted to do. I don't think I realized it would take 6 more years of school to get where I wanted to be. It was worth it though!
