I signed up to do the flex dependent care account for this fiscal year and I had a few questions. 1) does anyone do this that I can bounce future questions off of. 2) Do you process your claims per pay period or have you elected to do the recurring expense claim where you only have to submit your stuff once and they just continue to pay out through your claim period.
If yes to question #2, is your amount incurred that you put on your form the amount you actually pay daycare or the amount that your flex plan covers (in my case I pay more than my flex covers). I would like to only have to submit this stuff once and not have to worry with it every few weeks.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone have Flex Dependent Care Account?
I would divide the maximum amount which I think is $5,00 by how many pay checks and that would be the number I put on the recurring form. Granted it is less than what you will actually pay but that is what you will get reimbursed. HTH.
Ditto. So I just have to do it each time DH gets paid- we can't afford to wait on that money.
With ours, the amount taken out of DHs paycheck is evenly spaced over the year. I think it is $190/paycheck if you get paid bi weekly, so that is the max that could be requested in that case.
I don't have that option either. I get paid weekly and the same amount is taken out of my check each week. I process a claim weekly or every two weeks. It sounds like a pain, but it really isn't. When I pay my nanny on Friday, she signs the claim form. I fax it in on Monday and the money is directly deposited in my checking account on Thursday (the same day I am paid), so I never really miss the money.
