At borders last night a woman told me

that Jack looked like Opie (Spelling?) from the Andy Griffith show because of his light hair and that his ears stuck out. Embarrassed  I never noticed them sticking out before.  Now DH says we have an elf baby.

    Well, Opie was Ron Howard, one of the most successful actor/filmakers of our time...and adorable as a kid...IMO your DS is even cuter!

    I don' t think his ears stick out at all & he def does not look like Opie!! That lady is on crack! He's super cute!

    i would never mention to a stranger that their baby's ears stick out.  but dont feel bad, DD"s stick out too, i call her my little elf all the time. and i ask her if she knows santa...and she always smiles really big when i ask her that (its our little game) if they do really stick out, (i cant really tell)  i dont think it will be for long, they are still really soft right now!! here is a pic of how DDs stick out. (but i love them)

    Maybe she had cataracts, LOL.  I didn't take offense to it, it was kind of funny.  She didn't mean it bad at all.  She even pinched his cheeks.

    haha thanks! i was joking around one day (when my SIL was commenting on her ears) and she smiled at me so i do it almost every day when she wakes up from naptime)
