Well, I was shocked when I got AF just 8 weeks after Keira was born. Yes, seriously. I was PISSED. I didn't think that would happen considering I am exclusively breastfeeding.
So...(reading the post below) your supply can go down with AF? I have been taking More Milk Plus since K was pretty little (now I'm thinking it might have been AF related) and when I don't take it, I know there is hardly anything in there.
Why is this? And how long did you not have AF while BFing? Am I the luck minority that got it so soon??

I didn't get AF until 9 mo pp (I was also EBF) but as you know, it really varies by person. It can affect your milk supply (not sure why) but not always. I had one AF before getting pg. Both AF and getting pg didn't change my milk supply at all.
I got mine at 4 months with DD and was EBF. ?I actually feel like I may have it now with DD2 - I started bleeding last night, but can't tell if it is just the remains of PP bleeding or AF. ?Hopefully it is just PP bleeding. ?I was upset when I got mine too, I cried about it.
I didn't notice it effecting my milk supply though.?
Don't worry - you're not the only "lucky" one.
I was so excited thinking I would get to go almost another year with no visit from AF. So, I was shocked when it returned at 7 weeks PP since I was exclusively BF AND I was in the middle of my birth control pill cycle. And, lucky for me, it looks like AF has decided to visit again today! Yay for 2 times in one month!
But, my nurse said that some women just have different levels of hormones that cause AF to appear earlier and irregularly even if BF.
I've noticed my milk supply being a little less the last couple of weeks so I'm guessing that can be attributed to AF (although I didn't know it would affect my supply). Does the supply just fluctuate when AF is in town or can I expect it to be lower from now on?
