The rumors are true. My feet are stuck at 2 shoe sizes bigger than they were pre-pregnancy, even after all my swelling has subsided.
The bad news is that I now wear a 10. Who wears a 10 when you're only 5'5"?
The good news is I get to go shoe shopping and not feel guilty about it.
Is it bad that I'm *slightly* excited about the prospect of not fitting into my pre-pregnancy clothes by the time I go back to work? I need a guilt-free excuse to buy a new wardrobe.
Re: Post-partum feet.
Oh lord. If my feet grow 2 sizes I'll have to special order all my shoes.
I'm 5'10" and wear a 9-91/2.
But yay for shopping.
That stinks, Lauren! Sorry. But, like you said, hopefully it'll give you an excuse to shop some
Dude. I'd be screwed if my feet grew 2 sizes! I already wear a 9.5/10 and I'm only 5'3". How freakishly abnormal would I be?!
My feet didn't get bigger size-wise (I've always been a 9-10), but they're definitely wider. I've always had super skinny feet and now they're not so much. And shoes definitely fit me differently now! Yeah for shoe shopping!
PS - I'm like 5'5 1/2" and I've always worn a size 9 or 10 (depending on brand).
Welcome to the club!
Look at all you boat-feet gals! I can say that cause I'm in the club too. If I go up to an 11, I will cry because that seems SO much bigger than 9-10.

I had some swelling at the end but my shoe size didn't change after pregnancy...so it might not happen to everyone!
Yay for shopping!
This is the story of my sister's life. She wears a 6.5 on the left and an 8 on the right. Nordstrom will let you pay the price of one pair and take the sizes you need to make your pair. Payless BOGO is my sister's favorite sale. When you have to buy two pairs, even cheap shoes turn into an expensive event.
I'm 5'4" and I wear a 10 (sometimes I can squeeze into a 9.5) and my feet didn't grow when I was pregnant.
My moms feet grew 1/2 size w/ each pregnancy. Now she needs an 11. She's 5'7".
Mine maybe grew a 1/2 size - pre-pg, I could wear an 8, 8.5 or 9 depending on brand. Post-pg, I can't fit into 8s in any brand anymore and mostly wear 9s, but still some 8.5s and some 9.5s depending on brand.
I'm 5'10" and used to think I had freakishly small feet for my height when I could wear an 8, now I feel a bit more normal.
