Playtex VentAires Leaking

Did anyone else have this problem?  Two of the bottles are leaking now. 

After the one came home empty from daycare on Monday (thank god I send an extra each day) I did at test.  I cleaned off the bottle, made sure the bottom was on straight and tight and filled it with water.  I set it on the counter and within minutes there was a little pool of water.  WTF?

And now yesterday another one of her extra bottles came home empty and they said it leaked.  Not to mention that the numbers are rubbing off and I don't even put them in the dishwasher.

Anyone else have this problem?  What did you do?

    Yes, I had problems with the VentAires.

    We use Born Free and Playtex drop-ins now. No problems.

    I had this problem with one of mine also. I just had to make sure the bottom part was tighter but I doubt that is the problem with yours. And I've only used it twice, and the numbers are completely worn off also and I handwashed it. I have to fill the water up in another bottle then transfer it over to this bottle and then put the formula in. It's a total waste of time but I really don't want to throw it out because I like it!

    ughhhhh yes i had all those problems too... if you call the company and tell them about the numbers rubbing off they will sent you coupons for money off new bottles... as far as leaking goes, our have leaked since day 1 and our LO is 4 months old ... i finally switched to Dr Brown's last week.  i don't know why i waited so long... save yourself the aggravation and get different bottles now... those suck.

    We use the Ventaire Advanced and haven't had any problems.  And, I'm glad since that's the only bottle on the planet we could get her to take.

    Yes they just randomly leak normally if we tighten up the bottom there ok. They are the only bottle he likes so were sticking with them.

    Thanks!  Luckily DD will take pretty much any bottle.  I'm just pissed that I spent all that money on these bottles and they are crap.  I wish Playtex had a customer service email... I hate having to call those places, it takes forever!
