tonight i decided to let aaron sleep in his bassinet while we went downstairs to have dinner. since he got home on friday he's been in the same roon with us always (either in his car seat, a bouncy chair, holding him, etc.). but tonight i figured, we have a monitor, so why not use it? and he's been doing fine so what the heck. of course i nearly had a heart attack when i heard a baby's cry on a tv commercial for tlc's toddlers & tiaras, but everything else went well. now i realized i have more time than i thought!
