Unless they are homemade blankets, can't you just write your DDs name on the tag. That's what I did. Otherwise, maybe you could sew her initials into them with a sewing machine. Or maybe put her name on a piece of tape and stick to the blanket?
I only rotate 3 blankets for daycare, we take one in on Monday and bring it home to wash on Friday - so really one or 2 would be fine. This cuts down on figuring out how to label them.
For store-bought I just wrote DS's name on the tag. For the homemade blankets I sewed a small piece of fabric on as a tag and wrote his name on that. The tape, as PP suggested, would work too.

i just ordered labels from namebubbles.com yesterday. I got tired of writing his name on tape everyday! I also have labels for his bottles (inchbug.com)
