Im finding it hard to do new things with my LO everyday. Just interested in what other do. I have a 3 1/2 month old, so things are a bit limited. We only go out when I have help, from my husband or family, LO hates the car seat, so you could imagine the cry fits I have faced if you have had a cryer, then you understand. She still too little for playdates so whats a SAHM to do?
Interested in your responses.
Re: What does your day consist of with your LO.
Take a walk and/or get a swing for the outside. DD loved being in her swing outside! She actually just loved being outside in general. Hopefully the hate for the car seat won't last too long...it's tough to not be able to go out. Are you close to any coffee shops or little lunch places? There's a lunch place just down the street from me and even though I would only go for 15 minutes to get a coffee or bagel, I always felt more refreshed. Good luck.
When DD was that age, we'd do things *I* liked to do.
I'd take her shopping in Hobby Lobby or at the mall or wherever I felt like going. I would talk to her about all the things I was looking at and show her stuff. Plus, she could people watch a bit.
Going for walks for fresh air is fun too. Or go outside and spread a blanket in the yard and let her lie on it while you read her books, play with toys or show her pictures.
Don't let crying in the carseat stop you from getting out. Put on some good music and get where you're going. DS is still a HUGE cryer in the car. It's just become part of life that whenever we go somewhere he cries until we get there. Getting out of the house, at least for me, is crucial for my sanity.

My LO went through a period where she hated her carseat, probably around 3 1/2 months old, she would scream while in it. Luckily she got out of that phase, and I hope yours does soon too. You could try a moby wrap or something to wear her and go for a walk outside. My day consists of taking her for walks around the neighborhood or the mall, I take her to the library sometimes for their baby program. A lot of times we just sit outside since she loves the fresh air.
Playdates aren't really for babies - they are for mommies! So if you know other people who have children you should definitely make an effort to visit them (or have them come to you). Just talking with another adult can make all the difference in an otherwise mundane day.
We use to go for daily walks. Try late morning or early evening when it's a bit cooler outside.
Make yourself a snack and go to the park. Just sit and watch the other kids playing, talk to other moms or just zone out and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. I swear, a little sunshine can go a long way to uplift your mood.
When I was a nanny our day looked like this (see below) and I assume I will continue the routine with my own kids (if it works for them).
6:30am feeding, tummy time and stories
7:30am back to sleep, time for me to clean up and watch the news
9:00am baby up, bath time, snack time
10:00 stroller walk to park for play time (social time for me, time to roll around on a blanket for her)
11:00 walk home
11:30 lunch, toys (I clean up)
12:30 nap time for her, nap time for me or reading, picking up, etc.
3:00 baby up, snack time, outdoor/play time
4:00 clean up start dinner, baby hangs out nearby
Are there any volunteer opportunities in your area? Either some that you can take your baby to or that you can do from home? I used to volunteer for a domestic violence shelter a few hours a week from home. Non-profits always need extra help and I'm sure that you would be able to find something that's flexible for you to keep yourself busy.
You could also do a home based study course. Maybe learn a new language or trade at your own pace.
