2nd Trimester

girl parts and 3d

Today I did my baby modeling for some u/s tech's at a local college. They printed out tons of pictures for me, but I wanted to share the GIRL PARTS!!! and the 3d.

She's only 22 weeks along, so the 3d looks funny, but hey--it was all FREE!!! so no complaints here!

Re: girl parts and 3d

  • That's great! I am planning on going to our local U/S tech school after 18wks to be used as a guinea pig

  • Loading the player...
  • I think I had 9 different people doing it. Just so you know, some of the students may push a little hard. There was one girl in particular that pushed down hard on my belly and I'm thinking a bruise may appear soon from it. It hurt!

And they used about a half a bottle of jelly on my stomach.

  • I went to our local hospital for their program at 19 weeks, They had new students start last week so I'm going back tomorrow!  I'm excited.  I'm going to ask if I can get a 3d image, I know most of the machines you just press the button to switch to 3d.

wow, 9 is alot!  How long were you there?  I had the instructor do a quick scan last time and 3 students.  And they all worked on whatever they were having trouble with.

Since these are brand new students I am more worried about the pushing hard.  But I won't be afraid to speak up.  I know the only accept a max of 6 students.  I think I was there around 2 hours last time for the 3.

Yeah, that's all they did for me. The students couldn't figure out how to rotate the image so their teacher did it for them.  She told me that the baby would look more skeletal than anything because she doesn't have much fat yet at this point, so yours will probably look like mine... kinda scary! but still cute! lol

I was there for 2 hours. There were 5 or 6 people in the room, but more came in later because they needed to complete their checklists today. They had a list of things they had to find--organs, body parts, etc--so they just used me to finish up.

My cousin was in the room with me. She's a student there so we were really excited that she was gonna get to see the baby!

  • How do you find a school so you can get these done for free?  And do you have to make an appointment?  I have never heard of such a thing.  Wow!!  My husband would be so excited to go to one of these.  Is there a limitation on how far along you are?

    Ditto this!

  • You have to find an ultrasound program near you.  Their might not always be, and then you call and ask if they need any pregnant volunteers.
