Due in December...when to have shower?

So my 2 girlfriends decided to throw me a shower and are having a hard time figuring out when to have it. They are thinking October (I am due Dec 21....so i will be btwn 28 & 32 weeks) Just wanted to know when other december mommies are having theirs?

Im due dec. 27th and my sis and mom are throwing my shower on nov. 7th. Yeah I know its kinda early for planning it already, but my mom is a real planner.

I'm not a december mommy, however I would much rather go to a shower in October rather than November or December.

I'm due December 3rd and I think it's going to be the first or second Saturday of October. I told my mom and my sister that I don't want to be too huge and I want to have time to set everything up and get whatever we still need before the baby comes.

We are due 12/21 as well and since we are having two showers they will be?

October 17th and October 24th

October. My mom and sister are throwing me one, and MIL is throwing a separate one. My side of the family is HUGE so we can't fit everybody into one shower. We did the same thing for wedding showers. I really wanted to have just one, but I'm certainly not going to complain about a gift-giving party in my honor Wink

I am due on Dec 18th and I am hoping to have it the first couple weeks of October. None of my family likes to drive once winter happens. Plus, it is well before thanksgiving plans and xmas.

I'm due December 1st. I'm having my shower September 20th. A couple weeks earlier then I would like, but my grandparents are vacationing the whole month of October and we decided to do it then.

Actually...we booked the venue when I was around 14 weeks. I've gone crazy

I'm due Dec 26th, and my mom is having mine on Oct 3rd. Kinda early.... but I rather do it a little early so that I'm not as huge and uncomfortable.

I am due December 5th, but my baby will be born in November. My mom is planning on having the baby show at the end of August for weather reasons.

I am due Dec 11th and my first shower is Labor Day weekend. I know it is a little early but DH's whole family will be in town for a wedding shower so they decided to throw my shower in too. I feel bad because I think the girl who the wedding shower is for should have the attention all weekend. This is the best though so family doesn't have to travel twice. I don't know when my family will have one I would think October.

Ok well i will be having my twins at 34/35 weeks week of christmas so now i am thinking my shower should be in October..That way i have Nov to get the rest of the things i need especially those after Thanksgiving sales...

my EDD is 12/30 and my BFF and sis are planning on throwing mine late Oct-early Nov (they have to plan ahead to make sure my sis can come back from Chicago).

we are waiting till the twins are actually here. If it winds up being late nov/ early Dec, we will be waiting till spring and have the shower when we have them christened
