If you read it, did you like it/use it?

I have a lot of books I'd like to read but I'm prioritizing and don't know if I'll get around to reading them all. Happiest Baby comes well-recommended.

ETA: Just realized we were given the DVD along with the book! I'll definitely watch that and if I have time, go through the book.

Ditto: it has been a lifesaver. I'd keep it at the top of your pre-baby reading list, for sure. It's a quick read and we started using the 5 S's right away...love it.

While not all the 5 S's work for my LO, it was still a good read to understand the 4th Trimester and how to keep her feeling secure enough to relax and sleep.

We LOVED this DVD - my DH especially.

I definitely recommend getting the DVD! That was the only way I could ensure my DH would get through it.

We totally use it-once you master the "shhh", you'll be amazed at how effective it is. It also made me feel better in general since our little guy is quite the fussy one....
