If you go to No VA Pediatrics...

Who is your ped and are you happy?  We have a prenatal consultation there tonight.  We haven't chosen a Dr yet and I am looking for recs.  I know Halpin is said to be wonderful, but if we can rarely get in with her that does us no good.  So, we may request her but if others are recommended that is just the same for us.  :)  TIA!

    Love, love Dr. Kelly. I've never had trouble getting appointments with her, even at the last minute for a sick visit. We did our orientation with Dr. Myers, who was also amazing. I've heard great things about Baldrate and Halpin as well. Good luck!

    We see Dr. Baldrate and she is wonderful. We never have a problem getting in to see her. She is very patient and takes her time answering all my questions.  When DD was born she has a very bad case of jaundice and she even called our house on a weekend to see how she was doing.

    I second Dr. Baldrate. Never have trouble getting an appointment with her. She is calm and thorough and never seems rushed. She also has two young children of her own. HTH!

    We see Halpin-don't know if we were just lucky, but we called when DS was about 2 weeks old to schedule a visit because we had just moved to the area and got in to see her within a week.  I always tried to schedule most of DS's early visits at once because the schedulers always comment on how quickly her schedule fills up.  We were lucky enough to see her at our one Saturday sick visit, too!  I don't know any of the other docs there but I think the whole group is supposed to be good.
