I understand the whole I hate fake bags thing, but I'll go further and say I hate real bags too. I honestly don't understand paying that kind of money for a label. Aren't you basically paying them to advertise their name/logo? It's still just a purse right?
I just never got the whole "status bag" thing.
Flame away.
Re: I actually hate real bags...
The other thing is that purses are so far off my radar that I don't think I have ever taken notice of what kind of purse a person is carrying.
So, if any of my IRL friends have really expensive bags and I have yet to commpliment you on it, my appologies!
No flames here...I totally agree. If you've got money to spend and want to spend it on bags then that's certainly your prerogative, but I personally will never "get it."
Me too.
I think those carrying around hideous real bags that cost hundreds (some of them really are hideous) look just as ridiculous as those carrying around fakes trying to pass them off as if they spent hundreds.
If you like the bag, and you can afford it, be it $20 or $200, great.
I am not a designer bag person. They are not my style, at all. I'll stick to my mid-priced fossil bags that I use for five years at a time because it is functional. For anyone else, I don't care what they do. LOL!
Ditto. I actually won't even buy a buy that's a knock off either because I don't want to even give the impression that I would spend money like that.
Then again I don't even carry a purse unless I'm really going out or something. If I'm just running errands I just carry my license and card in my pocket. All I need.
