Pregnant after a Loss

Just curious

I just graduated to SAL two days ago - got a BFP on the first cycle after my miscarriage.  I'm just curious as to how many of you ladies have had more than one miscarriage.  I have only had one so far, and I'm hopeful that this little peanut will be our sticky baby, but I'm VERY nervous about it.  Just wondering if most people have only had one, or if it has been a long road of TTTC for many of you?

Re: Just curious

  • congrats on your baby and welcome!! Thankfully, I have only had one miscarriage. I miscarried last Oct and then got pregnant with our baby girl in January. Shes growing strong and healthy! Hang in there and try not to worry too much (i know its hard) but this is a great board. So supportive, it will be your saving grace!

  • Good Morning! Congrats on your BFP. I have had 5 m/c this past year. ?I was diagnosed with a T-shaped uterus and told that the babies were just not implanting well. ?The RE said it was just a matter of time before one of them stuck. ?This BFP for me was also the cycle after a m/c. ?I hope this is it for you and your baby is extra sticky.?

  • Congrats on your BFP!  This is a very supportive board of ladies who have had quite a journey.  I personally have had 2 m/c and an cautiously expecting again.  My RE found all kinds of possible reasons for the miscarriges, so hopefully with the changes in meds and previous surgeries, this will be successful!  Best wishes to you as you travel this journey.  We are all here to answer whatever questions we can!

    Congratulations!

I've had one previous loss at 9 weeks and so far this one is doing great. Best of luck to you!

  • I had one miscarriage in October and then got BFP with this baby in February. My dr said 25% of women have a miscarriage so it is more common than you might think. Every day will get easier and easier and before you know it you will be 26 weeks like me :).

I am not glad it happened to me, but it did make me much more appreciative to be pregnant this time around and every day I am thankful for this experience.
