    yes, $280.  I am trying to send it back to insurance... we'll see how that goes.

    Yes, I don't remember how much. I do remember it not being covered by my insurance.

    I was charged $65 and insurance is pending on the other $300. Not sure if they are covering it or not as of now.

    Really?  The state paid for our tests & from what I hear many other states pay for this as well.  Check into it.

    Are you in CA?  If yes, I can give you the state info. if you like.  My DD is having hearing issues so I have all the contact stuff.

    I think the state paid for DD's hearing test.

    Good Lord!  i hope not!  She had to get it 3 times before she passed!!!  We haven't had to pay for anything yet...

     Although I did just get my bill and it was for everything, insurance didn't cover anything.  So when I called, they had me under the wrong insurance!!  This is the 2nd time I have had to tell them the correct insurance!  They said I was under being covered by the state.  Not even close!  I swear sometimes!  I am going to call the hospital tomorrow and complain!

    DS failed at the hospital, so I took him back a month later. I just got the bill from the hospital for $22. They charged $767!? Lucky all but that $22 was covered. I find that to be a little outrageous for what they did for him.

    With all the bills I got, I'm not sure if I have a separate one for this. They didn't actually ask me if they could do the hearing test, so I would fight till the bloody death if ins didn't cover any of it. Maybe if I still had to pay my 25% it would be ok, but not if I had to pay 100%. They just did it during his first checkup.
