Babies: 0 - 3 Months

It's not so much that it was a "bar"

It's he was out until 11pm. ?That's a bit much. ?We take DS to "bar/restaurants" for brunch or an early dinner. ?But seriously, this kid is in bed by 9pm (at the latest) each night. ?There is no reason to have your baby out that late...not at a restaurant anyway.

Re: It's not so much that it was a "bar"

  • I think it was pure selfishness. I mean, I know we all have those moments of needing some space from LO but i would never do so in such a way that would upset him or screw up his night.

  • Well that and the fact that he told her to leave and she would not until he came with her...
  • I disagree. My girls go to bed at 10:30 - 11 pm everynight. It's what works for our schedule. They get just as much sleep as yours does.

  • :O but he was having fun without her and she's stuck at home all day long taking care of her baby that's just so much work.. so much work it's like having a full time job AND taking care of a baby and you're just a jerk and how dare he have some fun at his job asldkfjasld;fkjsdf

it didnt mess up his sleeping patterns. he had been falling asleep late for the past 2 weeks. He was sleeping the whole time. Im not selfish. My BF sister and BIL were there and they wanted to see him and they were watching a fight that was on tv.

People get over urselfs. Honestly, one night of being out for a baby isnt going to kill them. But apparently everyone else here is a waaay better mother then me since they seem to all do everything perfect.

    Exactly

  • I think there are some underlying issues with trust...not taking care of your kid.

    ?

    ?

But you don't put them let them sleep in your arms at the BAR! ?I wasn't saying a late bed time is bad, I`m just saying having your baby out that late is bad.?

  • Ok, I`ll say it... I think it's trashy to have your baby out that late at a BAR. ?If you were at a friend's or family members house, that is one thing. ?But you're watching a fight at a bar ?!?!?

My toddler would stay up to her bedtime but if my lo fell asleep while we were at a restaurant late...I would think nothing of it. I don't think having kids up later in a restaurant is trashy. We just have a different schedule than you.
