PIP: Nursery Progress

On a lighter note! Here's the nursery so far, I still have a lot to do but I am totally in love with my rocker & footstool. It was my Mom's and I had it covered in the green duponi silk we used as our aisle runner at the wedding. You can't really see it but I made the crib skirt out of the same material. You can see the drapes are draped on the bookshelf, I am going to try and get them on the windows this week. Oh, and my Mom made the quilt, it is amazing.

It's beautiful!!! If I'd been having a girl, my room would have been lavender, too. (I'm not so into pink.) I love how the teal green goes with the purples. Nice job!

Beautiful!! I love that you used the aisle runner from your wedding to cover the chair - I love to see people repurposing items that have meaning into "new" things that are special - and I love to do it when ever I can too. Cute quilt! Your mom did a great job. I love the lavender - we almost did lavender but went with light green - still, I drooled over that color!
