Gave all Gracie's baby things away yesterday.

They went to someone who is very much in need of them so I feel good but also a bit sad to see it go.  I don't think we're going to have a #2 (Mirena) so it's not like I need it.  I did keep a few sentimental things like her coming home outfit, first pair of shoes, her beanie and blanket.  Otherwise the rest of it is all gone.  It's a strange feeling.

    My SIL swears the most surefire way to get an "oops" is to give your baby gear away.  She finally parted with hers when I had DD 3 years ago--her kids are 15 & 17.  (The baby boy clothes she gave me looked like suits a tiny little Don Johnson would wear on Miami Vice--so 80's)

    Make sure you hang on to at least one of Gracies items to ward off an "oops."

    Wow! That was nice of you!  I'm going to consign alot of DD#2's things when she outgrows them.  Alot of it I don't care about, but I won't be able to get rid of as much of it as you did.
