Today is my 35/35, but I don't know what that means. I mean, I know that I'm 35 weeks with 35 days to go, but I don't know why it's significant. Can someone help me out.

you got it right on the nose, first guess. that IS the significance.
I don't think it has anything to do with the actual development of the baby or anything. It's just kind of cool to be 35 weeks pregnant and have 35 days left until your EDD. I know a lot of people think it's lame, but who cares? In pregnancy, you need those little milestones.
That's pretty much all there is. However, I have heard that 35 wks is pretty commonly the point where doctors won't stop you if you go into labor on your own... so, that's kind of a milestone too, I guess.
I'm 35/35 too and agree that it's just nice to have little things to look forward to, but not as big a deal as some would have us believe.
I guess the next milestone is being officially full term 2 weeks from today. What i'm most looking for is for the baby to his bum (or legs) out of my ribs so I can get my work done comfortably...
Re: Someone please explain to me what the 35/35 is?
That're pretty much what the deal is. Just a play on numbers.
