Sorry I didnt' have much time to get on the internet yesterday.

My DH came home yesterday and I met him at the door with the pregnancy tests and showed them to him and told him I was pregnant!! He grinned at me and then took a double take at the tests! It was so funny!! He is really excited!!

Well I called my doctors office yesterday to schedule an appointment and the lady said according to my first day of my last menstral cycle I would 8 weeks on July 21st! I was like WHAT? Since my cycle was so long I figure that is wrong but they are having me come in on July 27th! I am so excited and I hope these next two weeks fly by!!!

Oh yeah... That happened with me too - Just be firm with them that you know when you O'd or else they will freak out a little

That's what happened with Avery - at my first appt - they were concerned that she should have measured ~10 weeks when I KNEW I was less than 8. Once they see the embryo and how far along, they will adjust your EDD and go off of that. but the first appt (or two) you'll have to make sure you stand your ground

Hey Kellie, I remembered when I was trying to figure out my due date, there was at least one site that allowed you to put in the length of your cycle to get a better idea.

Okay I used the second link and put in a 50 day cycle and it told me my due date would be March 23rd. We shall see!!

Okay for some reason you can't see it!?

I put in a 50 day cycle because that is when I found out! Could be off some? It gave me a due date of March 23rd.

I bet you'll get an early u/s to date the pregnancy because you have such long cycles. Like Sarah said, be firm with your O date. But according to a lot of girls on the 1st Tri board, some OBs don't put a lot of stock in charting.

i may not be credible since i've never gone through this myself, but i think having a print out of your chart would be very helpful so you can show the doc when you O'd. though if your docs are anything that the 2 that i had, they will prob look at you like you are speaking greek. it's unfortunate that most docs don't know anything about charting.

Well I do remember my doctor saying when I had my pap and we were talking about TTC that they needed to know if I wasn't O'ing and to use OPK's or take temperature or something! So maybe he will be more open then I think! It can't hurt to print out my chart! Do you know how to do that on FF??
