Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Does your 2mo old...?

1. Drool like a little bulldog

2. Choke sometimes on such drool

3. Gnaw on their hands like crazy

My mom keeps telling me that he's teething, and while it's a possibility, I don't know. My sister's DS had teeth at 3 mo old!

Re: Does your 2mo old...?

  • every shirt DD wears has drool all over it! lol Yes she chokes sometimes...when she is screaming! And if she had teeth she would bite her own hand off! I dont think she is teething really i think she is just soothing herself she likes to suck!

    1.  starting to have 'bubbles' but i wouldn't call it drooling

    2.  yes, she coughs sometimes

    3.  starting to do this!  i think she's just trying to suck  her fingers

btw, i have the same swing for my LO and she loves it!

  • yes yes and yes.

and everytime I hold him up on my shoulder he chews all over either my shirt or skin depending on what i'm wearing.

  • DD just started drooling with bubbles.  My dad claimed yesterday that it means she is teething, but i'm a little skeptical.  Although, she has been extremely extra fussy the past few days. So, maybe... She doesnt really choke on the drool.  And she has definitely discovered her hands.
  • Yes he did to all of those. No teeth yet.

  • The drool starts at this age as they start to communicate (cooing and such).

  • 1. Almost. A lot, but not as much as my nephew, who wakes up in the middle of the night crying beause he doesn't like sleeping in his puddle.

    2. Not usually. It's hard to choke on drool when it's running down mommy's back or arm...or all over my face....

    3. Yes!

I think DS could be teething, but I also think it's too early. I guess we'll see.

  • Oh yes she has been doing this for about 3 weeks now. She doesnt choke on drool just when she is so excited for her bottle she will choke on the first couple of sips. She loves her hands :)
