2nd Trimester

What am going to do with all of this???

So, I made this amazing dessert tonight, White Chocolate Blueberry Bread Pudding w/ Amaretto Cream sauce. YUM. But I have an entire 9x13 pan full of it, of which only a small portion is gone. I cannot be eating this stuff over the few days all by myself (or even with DS and DH's help)- the main ingredients are butter, heavy cream and sugary stuff! Any ideas on what to do with it??? Aside from share with you all, but, you know, sending things through the internet is difficult... Wink

  • Do you have a friend or relative that could use some cheering up?  Maybe a new neighbor (that is, if it's presentable!!).

I thought about freezing it, but am not sure it would freeze very well, given all that cream and stuff in it. Hmm... And I totally would send it to you if it would transport well! If you want the recipe, it's on the Food Network site- it's an Emeril recipe, but very easy to make!

  • Drop it off at the local Fire Station. Those guys will make short work of it, and appreciate it, too.

Oh, it's very presentable... it's got melty blueberries and white chocolate chips in it. Dammit, now I'm hungry for another piece. Just say no, just say no...

No new neighbors, though I might send some to the ones we talk to often. That's a good idea!

Oh, duh! DH is a firefighter! I'll ship it with him to work on Wed!!!

  • That sounds WONDERFUL! I would LOVE to have the recipe! I make bread pudding often and I freeze it. It does very well in the freezer and you can freeze in big enough servings so the three of you can have it several times!
