Rec. your family vehicle!!!

DH and I are starting to look for something more family friendly (our only vehicle that holds the carseats is our Ford F150!).   What do you have, do you like it, does it accomodate multiple carseats (FF and RF), good fuel economy???  TIA!

    Don't know if yor are interested in mini-vans, but we LOVE our Kia Sedona (2007).  We have 3 car seats in there right now (one RFing, one FFing & one high-back booster).  I cannot imagine NOT having a mini-van with all those car seats!  And there is still plenty of room for our 14 year old, even with all the car seats.  For the price, we got a great vehicle.  Not to mention, the storage space in the cargo area is AWESOME!! Plenty of room for us to pack EVERYTHING a family of 6, including an infant (with his pack n play, stroller, etc) needs for a week-long vacation! The fuel economy is about average for a vehicle its size.

    I have a Honda CR-V.  Love it, it could definitley fit 2 car seats no problem (FF and RF), good storage and good gas mileage.

    We have a Toyota Sequoia which I LOVE!!! It's a 2006 (we bought it when I was pregnant with baby #3 and have since had baby #4), and it fits all of us perfectly:) The gas mileage was the best at the time we purchased it...about 18 miles, but I find it to be more like 15 miles to the gallon:( but I know some SUVs have gotten better (the Hybrids). We've had forward and rear facing carseats in it at the same time, and now 2 big forward facing seats, plus enough room to fit my 11 and 8 year old comfortably. If you go with the bench seating, you'll definitely get more room. Plus, the "trunk" space fits ALL my baby gear.

    Honda Odyssey.  I love it.  I have had it since August and still love it just as much as the day we bought it.

    I love our volvo xc90. ?I am also loving the new crossover volvo...maybe I'll get that when my lease is up! ;)

    We have a new Toyota Sequoia.  Love it!  It's super spacious, has captain's chairs on the second row which makes the third row easily accessible when it's not laid flat (I keep the third row laid flat so I can maximize my cargo space in the back for strollers, groceries, etc.), has rear camera so I don't back into anything, nav, DVD (and DS uses the headphones so I don't have to hear it!), gets fairly good gas mileage and drives like an absolute dream.  As big as it is, it handles better than any sedan I've ever owned...it turns on a dime!  My favorite feature?  Built in sun shades on all passenger windows.

    I have a GMAC Acadia and realy love it. It is big without being giant. It has a third row and the trunk space is still large enough when it is in use. Also, the second row has captain seats that I can easily walk between to get to the third row. Gas mileage is okay. I normally get 21-22mpg on the highway, I drive mostly on the highway...
