How long did you bleed after c/s?

I've obviously never done this before so I don't know what to expect.  It's been two weeks today since Megan Grace was born and I'm bleeding pretty consistently like when I go pee and stuff but it's not a ton it's just there.

    Totally normal. I bled for about 6 weeks, and thought it would never stop. I went from monster pads, to regular pads, to ultra-thin pads, then to pantyliners by the last week..

    I was similar to Hughes although maybe I stopped a little sooner. But it it totally normal that you are still bleeding.

    Hope you are doing well... I have been thinking about you a lot.

    Ditto Huges completely.It seemed like forever, but it was not too bad, just really annoying.

    I have been thinking about you and sending lots of prayers your way.

    How is your scar healing up? Everyone is different, but your incision site can be tender for quite some time. Mine is still sensitive so it's normal for that to be a little sore for a while.

    I think I stopped around 4 weeks. Hope your recovery is going well!

    Bleeding up to 6 weeks is normal, then anything after that they will address at your 6 week PP check, and do a pap smear (if you're due). I bled 4 weeks, with the last week being spotting. It was like a heavy period up until then. I took my steri strips off at 5 weeks PP and my incision is still numb/tender.

    Thanks ladies!  I got a little worried but I'd already asked my nurse and she agreed it was fine.  It would be great if it would stop though. I'm sick of dealing with bleeding all together.

    As far as my scar it's healing amazingly well.  So far so good.  DH says he can't even see it so I guess that is good news.

    I'm still having some stomach issues but I've also heard that gets better with time.  Until then  I've got every stomach/poop aid in the bathroom :)

    We appreciate the thoughts and prayers.  Two weeks out from losing Megan Grace we are doing about as I expected maybe a little better.  There will always be good times and bad times so we just work through them as they come.
