Where have you shopped for bedding?

I have looked on BRU, Jcpenny's, Target, pottery barn and Gap. Babymall.com has one or 2 that I like but I'm still looking for more ideas. Anyone wanna share where you found or shop for your baby bedding?

  • We're not buying a bedding set.  Personally I think they're a huge waste of money considering that you can't even use a majority of it for a while any way.  We're just going to buy a couple of fitted crib sheets and think about buying other bedding later, when she's older.

Here's an article on SIDS and bedding from the Consumer Product Safety Commission:

(This isn't meant to be an attack on your post, I just thought it was slightly relevant but not worth starting a new thread about)

  • We found ours at Pottery Barn Kids. You could also try eBay.

  • Wal Mart online is actually where I found mine. I searched and searched everywhere and found nothing I liked anywhere else. I was on the walmart site for something else one night and stumbled across it!

  • Im on a verrrry tight budget, so I looked at consignment stores. They had bedding sets for $12...including the expensive Pottery Barn ones! Ive also looked at Overstock.com, but I actually liked a lot of what WalMart had. If youre not on ANY sort of budget, check out PoshTots. I had fun just looking at all the things they had.

I'm making the crib skirt and a quilt (just to be used as a receiving blanket, not as bedding), and maybe a diaper stacker.  I'm going to buy a ton of white fitted sheets, because I know I'll have to change them a lot (white so I can bleach).  JCP had fitted sheets 2 for $16 in the little catalog I just got today when I went over there.

  • Babysupermall.com is a good site. It has a ton of bedding from ALL differnt stores and they're actually cheaper on there than they are in the stores. At least all of the ones I picked out and compared.... :)
  • I ended up buying my bedding at Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot.
  • I wanted to pick out bedding at a place where i could register... a place that would be easily accessible to people.  I started at Target, then went to Babies r Us and didn't see anything we liked.  I ended up finding a cute gender-neutral pattern at Bed Bath & Beyond.
  • try babysupermall.com

im picking between one of these two :)
