Totally beating myself up

After reading the advil post I'm kinda freaking out.  I took advil a few days ago when I had a horrible headache. My RE never warned me about advil and I didn't even think.  Now I'm beating myself up thinking it was probably the worst possible time to take it (the day after I O'd) and I may have messed things up. I feel like even when I do everything right, things don't work, so now that I've done something "wrong" my chances will plummet.  No fun.

Re: Totally beating myself up

  • Aww, don't beat yourself up.  So many women do things before they realize they're pregnant, and everything turns out fine.  You'll be fine.  Besides, ibuprophen, as I understand it, affects implantation.  So that doesn't happen until like 7 dpo or so.  You're fine. :)

  • It will be alright! Think positive and hopefully things will be just fine. ***sticky sticky sticky baby dust*** to you
  • I didn't see the advil post.

     But - it is not like you did something really unusual to take a few advil when you had a horrible headache.  The key word here is you may have messed things up.  Not definitely, just "maybe".  As you may know by now, some women's bodies don't seem to follow the rules of logic when it comes to getting PG or not getting PG.

    And if you don't get a BFP this month - maybe it was something else, totally unrelated to the advil.  But you'll never know for sure, and it's not like beating yourself up is going to help matters.  So forgive yourself, lesson learned, and move forward and take care of YOU so you can have the happiest and healthiest ttc/pregnancy possible.

    ::hugs::

  • I think if you took it the day after you Od, you're fine. Lots of sticky baby dust to you!
