Ok, I keep a lamp on ovenight in DD's room. DH thinks it's too much - that we should have just a night light on in there, at the most. (He isn't the one who gets up with her in the night, and has to locate the pacifier, or change diapers, etc.)
So, just curious - how much light do you have on in your LO's room overnight?
Re: How much light in baby's room?
Daytime sleeping is in normal light but night time sleeping is completely dark. No nightlight. Although, the monitor has a light blue glow.
I am able to change diapers without light - if it is a BM then I may turn on a nightlight but immediately shut it off once he is clean. I try to keep any stimulation to a min. I can locate a paci without light but we rarely use it.
I think your DH is right but you all have to find what is right for your LO. The less amount of stimulation the better they may sleep.
