Newport Pediatrican? Mendoza?

Hi Girls - we are trying to pick at Ped.  someone with Sat hours hopefully anyone in Newport have someone they love?  A few people have told me Mendoza.

    Hi Kylie, We went with Dr. Michael Yu. He is near Hoag off Superior. He came recommended by my OB (his grand kids go to him). DH and I loved him. Works on Sat. and gave us his cel number. (949) 548-7777

    We go to Harbor Pediatrics and see Dr. Chen but have seen Mendoza on serveral occasions.  I really like her and like all the doctors there actually.  Its nice to always get a sick visit asap and the Saturday hours are great too!

    I initially interviewed Mendoza at Harbor Pediatrics and loved her personality. But she was not available when I delivered, Dr. Chen showed up instead and both DH and I also fell in love with him. We have continued seeing Dr. Chen but would not hesitate seeing D. Mendoza also. Dr. Chen has repeadtly told us to call him no matter what hour with any questions, that that is what they sign up for and know will happen with infants. I also like that they have availability on Saturdays.

    I also love the way their office is set-up. They have seperate waiting areas for sick kids, kids with rashes, and kids that are in for a routine appnt.

    We met with Mendoza and liked her very much. She came recommended from 3 friends but we ended up with Dr. Abelowitz at Coastal Kids in Newport Center. Just a better fit for us personally.
