On Saturday my DD had a perfectly normal day. Lots of playing outside and regular naps. On the way to my moms house at about 6:30pm I heard a noise coming from the back seat and I knew it didn't sound good. I pulled over fast and DD had thrown up all over the place. This was not a small amout. It was an adult amount of vomit. She threw up a few times in a row and never cried or even got upset. We were close to my moms house and when we got there DD acted fine. She was her normal crazy self, getting into everything.
I wasn't too worried just thought maybe she had something that upset her belly. Then yesterday same thing, perfect day and then at about 8:00pm right before bed she threw up all over the place. Afterwards she played and was fine and then went to bed.
This is so strange. She had no foods that she hadn't had before so I am stumped. Anyone else experience this?
She has an eye doctors appt. tonight at 5:30 (it took over 5 months to get an appt. with the pedi specialist). I am so nervous it will happen again but can't cancel this appt. It will take forever to get her back in.
Re: sick baby?
I just posted about the same thing happening to DD in the car yesterday. Just like your LO she was perfectly fine before and even after her episode. The only thing I can think of that might of made her feel sick were some grapes we gave her for a snack but only because didn't finish them as she usually does....
Good luck with your appointment today. Sorry I don't have any advice to offer you.
At first I really thought it DD was car sick but when she did it again last night at home it left me puzzled. I will say this puke and carseats don't mix. It was really bad and it was in all the little nooks and crannies and I really thought it would never get clean. I washed the cover and the seat and then did it again the next day. So gross.
I hear you about the car seat. DH took it apart yesterday and was washing it down, he probably has to do it again today.
How is the weather where you're at? It's crazy hot here in Houston and for a minute I wondered if the heat had anything to do with it. I don't know, I'm probably just grasping at things here now....
