My endo is bad enough, even post-lap, that Tylenol is a joke. My old RE (who was incompetent but covered by insurance) said no Advil ever. The new good one's nurse said I could take it CD1-2 for cramps but none other than that.
Another friend who saw the same RE said he told her no Advil ever. (I just heard this after taking two this morning for cramps.)
Just curious what your RE thinks.
If I don't take Advil I'm either miserable and in bed with a heating pad for 2 days or taking Vicodin and unable to drive b/c it makes me loopy.
Re: What does your RE say about advil?
Nope, no Advil, sorry. You could take it CD1-2, I suppose, but to be safe I wouldn't - plus I am pretty sure that the general belief is not ever when pursuing ART.
I have both endo and arthritis and some days really wish I could take advil, aleve or naproxen.
I wouldn't imagine vicodin would be allowed either ??
GL and keep the heating pad handy - it will be your best friend.
They told me vicodin was fine. Doesn't affect blood supply.
Crap. I hope I didn't mess up this month.

I just asked my RE about this last week and she said ibuprofen during my period is ok.
Sounds like that's inconsistent with what a lot of others have been told.
I'm with you though, the tylenol just isn't cutting it for me.
It has something to do with it thinning the blood, which can thin your lining and interfere with implantation.
Me too-- Advil is my choice med for pain, but my RE is adamant that no Advil allowed (OK for cramps if really necessary but really shouldn't). Only Tylenol Extra Strength. I pop 2 every 4 hours when it hurts.
