DH finally felt her kick

He had been getting frustrated that he couldn't feel anything and then this morning (after his awful pager went off), we were both up and the baby was kicking up a storm. And he finally felt her! We were both so excited!!

    Congrats!  That was such an exciting moment that made the pregnancy between more than just me and baby.  I know my DH has gotten so much more excited since he could feel our little guy. 

    Now he is talking to him, making ipod mixes for me to hold up to my belly, etc.  He is really starting to feel like he's real, even though we moms-to-be have felt that for a long time already.  Smile

    We had the same experience this weekend. Previously every time he put his hand to my belly, the little stinker quit kicking. This time he felt her though!

    yay! how exciting. At first Dh would hardlykeep his hand there for 30 seconds for whatever reason at the time.  The day before my birthday (5th) He felt her the first time and then the day after he felt her really well.  Now she kicks up a storm.  He hasn't gotten tired of feeling her yet!

     

    DD1(4):VSD & PFO (Closed!), Prenatal stroke, Mild CP, Delayed pyloric opening/reflux, Brachycephaly & Plagiocephaly, Sacral lipoma, Tethered spinal cord, Compound heterozygous MTHFR, Neurogenic bladder, Urinary retention & dyssynergia, incomplete emptying, enlarged Bladder with Poor Muscle Tone, EDS-Type 3.     Ooo,ooo me too, me too!! Dh felt our baby boy kick last night for the first time. We had just gotten done eating supper and it felt like our baby was doing cartwheels in there, which is funny because he's usually really active in the morning and then quiet in the evenings. So I grabbed DH's hand real quick and he got to feel our baby boy! He was so excited!! Then to top it off, I just sat there and watched my belly and I got to see it move!! It was so freakin exciting. I couldn't get the smile off my face! DH was making fun of me saying that I was acting drunk, but I was just so excited I couldn't even help it. It's so funny to sit there and watch your belly pop up all over underneath your belly button!!!

    That's great!  I've been so frustrated that DH hasn't felt the LO yet.  Every time LO is kicking and moving around, he/she will stop the second DH puts his hand on my tummy.

    That's awesome... hopefully my lil guy will get to kicking a bit harder in the next couple weeks... we're still at the point where DH will only leave his hand there for like 30 seconds. He said he thinks the kicks must have stopped, even though I tell him they are still very sporadic!

    That is really exciting!  My husband just felt our little girl for the first time two nights ago.  He had moments where he had thought he had felt her, but this time he was sure.  She was kicking really hard.  She seems to move around a lot late at night.

    Last night DH finally got to feel our LO kick, too!  His smile was priceless:-)

    This happens to my husband too.  I hope soon he can feel him kicking.

    DH still hasn't felt him.  I'm hoping for next week.  Although yesterday morning I was still in bed and felt him moving a lot so I lifted up my shirt and saw my skin being pushed up a few times.  It was very exciting to actually see him moving.  I thought since I have a thick layer of fat that I wouldn't see anything until he was much bigger so was happily surprised to see him moving in there.

    That's great!!! I can feel him kick from the outside but every time I call DH over to feel him RIGHT when he gets there he stops!!! It has gotten really frustrating for DH but I think he has felt him once now!!
