First day back at work

Crying

I've been here a half an hour and all I want to do is get back in my car and go home to my baby.

I know I shouldn't complain -- I'm only working p/t these days (4 days a week). But leaving him this morning and knowing I was going to be gone all day was incredibly difficult.

Please tell me it gets easier.

::Hugs:: I know exactly how you feel and it does get easier. Now when I take her it she smiles at her teachers and kicks her legs in her carseat b/c she wants to get out and play. If anything it makes me a little sad that she's growing up.

It does get easier! And you will have so much fun on your day off. I really cherish that little time I get with him that is extra every week.

Keepouchin up.....it stinks I know but you will also enjoy this time for just "you".

It definitely gets easier. Even when it's tough to drop them off (like today when Nate was clinging to my legs when I tried to leave) it's still easier than it was the first few days. Hang in there!

Hey chica!!! I feel your pain!! I am actually having a tougher time with leaving her now.....she has been so sweet lately and getting so fun and interactive, I am missing the time I had with her when I was home!!! I miss our exercise class too!!

Anyway, I hope your day goes as good as it possibly can!! I will tell you this though...being back to work makes you really, really appreciate and look forward to the evenings and weekend time that you can spend with DC.

It's tough! I've been back at work for about a month and it definitely gets easier. The first two weeks were so tough, but now I love coming home to my little one and spending all evening with her. And she just lights up when she sees me! I too am working part time and not sure I could handle working the full 5 days a week, but for the past couple weeks it's kinda been nice to get out of the house and focus on work a few days a week. Hang in there and remember he'll never forget who his momma is!!

Aww Murph, I know this is tough! I am definitely thinking about you. Even though Ashley is only in PT child care, I am having more trouble with it now than when she was small. I think it is because she is so much fun to be around and there is so much we can do now (the pool, etc). Not loving my job does not help either ;-) I hope it gets easier for you!

I am sorry you are having a hard time. I go back this Wednesday and I am not handling it well at all. I am sure we will get through it, so many people do it all the time. That is what I keep telling myself anyway!
