We slept through the night up until 4 months... now we are up 3-4 times a night again... just like a newborn.

STTN at 6 weeks is not the norm. My son didn't STTN until 6 months and he was up every two-three hours until he was 4 months old.

mine are opposite ... my first didn't sttn until 17 months. My LO is up only once a night, knock on wood.

Yes, I know that it is not normal, but it was great...and I sure do with this baby would've done the same!

OMG. I am going to totally be a bIItch here and say STFU! My 5 month old still gets up that much. Last night was the first time he EVER slept two 3 hour stretches! Stick out tongue

My 5 month old does that on a good night. Recently he's been up 6+ times/night. DD started STTN at 6.5 months, I'll be ecstatic of DS does that.

Mine too. He started off doing great and now sleeps for shorter stretches and now wants to get up and play at 4 in the morning.

my 4.5 month old got up 5 times last night. at around 2.5 months he started sleeping longer stretches and would wake up just once to feed. Since 3.5 months he has been progressively getting worse. It is so hard to get up to come to work when you haven't gotten but chunks of sleep.
