UGHHH...I a freak about toothbrushing. As much as I can be anyways - sometimes it is just so hard to brush toddler's teeth.
TOday, she keeps complaining that her tooth is sore. Whenever she takes a drink, she cries out and says her tooth is sore. And she hasn't really eaten much either.
Obviously I am thinking I need to take her to a dentist (which I just can't see going very well - she would probably freak out!). But I am also wondering if she has a sore throat and is thinking it is her teeth (a couple of times she just said her mouth was sore.)
I am not sure what I am needing from you guys - I just feel horrible if it is a cavity. Any similar stories, ladies?

Re: DD and tooth pain
I would take her tomorrow to the dentist. How old is she?
Carter doesn't have any cavities, yet. He's gone to the dentist since he was 2 y/o and I'm very anal about teeth brushing. The dentist told us at the last appt that because of how Carter's molars are (he says they are very deep ridges) he will be very surprised if he doesn't get a cavity sooner or later.
He said that even if it was his child, because of how his molars are, he probably couldn't prevent (other than putting a sealant on the molar) cavities in the 2 molars due to the depth of them. He said it's impossible (except for with using a dental pic everyday to dig food out of it) to get all the food that can go into the deepest parts of his molar, since the brush just wouldn't reach.
I wouldn't worry about it too much if it's a cavity, since it seems as if you are on top of teeth brushing.
She will be 3 in September. I really can't see it being a cavity but you never know. I am thinking it is a sore throat, but we will see how she is tomorrow.
Thanks for your reply!
