I don't know why I'm nervous about this, but I am. I'm trying to think of a list of questions to ask him, but I can't think of anything. What kind of questions did you ask your doctor on your first PG visit?
I asked about foods, working out, mystic tans (don't laugh) hilights, and that was pretty much it. You will get a TON of magazines and some other great reading material so don't stress about it, just be calm cool and collected!

I see Dr. Seeker and my first appt. was at 8 weeks. They ended up going over just about everything that I had questions on but I asked out Tylenol and massages and maybe one other thing. They give you this pink pregnancy handbook that tells you a lot. To be honest I didn't have a lot of questions because they went over EVERYTHING. Good luck!!!

Aww thanks! I didn't put a ticker up yet because I wanted to wait until I go in to see the doctor first.

This makes me feel better. How long was your visit? DH is leaving work to come with me and I told him that an hour should be plenty of time....you think?

My first appointment was at 8.5 weeks, and we waited nearly two hours to see Seeker. The actual appointment took less than five minutes. I don't know if he was rushing because he was so behind, or if he figured we'd already had a baby so we didn't need much info from him or what. Hopefully your appointment will go better. Congrats on your pregnancy!
Good luck! ?From what I remember, my 1st appointment Dr. S appt. with DS was me asking a few questions and an u/s. ?The handbook will answer a ton of your questions but he was great about answering the ones I came in with as well.?

I actually saw Kelly at my first appt so I waited maybe 10 minutes and was there for about 30 minutes. I had an ultrasound, bloodwork, pap, etc. I would call the office ahead of time to find out if Dr. S is running behind and if so how long so you can plan accordingly. With no wait an hour should be plenty.

Like pp said, that pink booklet will answer a lot of your questions, and of course the nurses/Dr. S will go over things with you too.
What time is your appointment? I had the shortest wait times in the morning, longest in the late afternoon. I may be unlucky, but I never ever ever had a wait of less than an hour for an appt where I was seeing Dr. S (rather than just a nurse visit). If your husband has to notify his workplace about how long he'll be gone I would tell them at least two hours, just to be on the safe side.

With an afternoon appointment, plan to be there several hours. I saw him at a first morning appointment last week, I arrived 10 minutes early, I was ushered into a room on time (rare), and it was still 45 minutes in the room before he came in. He was in the building that whole time (I could hear him talking). I was lucky, there was a baby being born that morning and he did rush into my room real quick to deal with me before he headed to the hospital. I could have been there even longer.
Just wanted to wish you good luck! My first appt. isn't for another 3 weeks and it's w/Seeker, too. It's a late afternoon appt., so I might be waiting awhile. Let us know how it goes!
Ditto on the long waits. I've never waited less than 2 hours to see Dr Seeker, some in the waiting room, some in the exam room. Even when I've called ahead to see how far behind he is I've had to wait several hours. However, I've always found the wait to be worthwhile. Just bring lots of reading material! For a nurse visit I've not had to wait past half an hour, usually only 15 minutes though.
Re: First appointment w/ Seeker tomorrow...
Still so excited for you!!! Get a ticker gilr!!
