I started showing early, every body shape and every pregnancy is different. I had a visible and very solid bump at 12 weeks. I am petite so that may have a lot to do with it. The majority of people don't start showing until about 16-20 weeks.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

16-17 weeks. But everyone is different! Especially on this subject. When you show is due to many things: height, length of torso, weight, whether or not this is your first pregnancy, and even where your placenta lies. If it lies really low in your pelvis or more toward your back, it will be a little longer before you show. Sorry, there is really no way to compare.
Everyone is completely different. Especially if you're thin, you could show quickly. But even if you're not you may begin to get rounder. I'm a heavy girl, and I began to show at about 14 weeks. It also depends on what you wear and stuff like that. Congrats!
A lot of it depends on your body shape/size. I was 140 5'-6" to start with so I'm on the smaller size anyway. I didn't start to show at all until week 17, I'm at week 19 now and I still don't really look pregnant at least not to people that don't know me.?
I'm only 13 wks, and just yesterday I noticed a tiny 'lil bump. And i'm a pretty big girl (size 18) so I was surpised! My clothes stopped fitting about 2 wks ago.
12 weeks ... about 2 days ago what I thought was bloat just hasn't gone away (which it had for the first 10 weeks) it's a round little bump (not that anyone who sees me with clothes on would notice) I started pretty small so maybe that's why ...
This weekend is the first time I have looked outwardly pregnant to people -- and these are the people who know I am. I haven't gotten any comments from those who didn't previously know I was pregnant. *shrug*
I asked my nurse friend about this, and she said the showing depends on a LOT of factors, including the person's size, weight, previous pregnancies (if any), and size/location of the uterus. People with tipped uterus (to the front) will probably show earlier than people whose uterus is straight or tipped back.
I am 5'4 and weighed 128 at the start of my pregnancy. I now weigh 143. Even now, it really depends on what I am wearing b/c most people would just think I've got a chubby belly and not that I'm pregnant. My husband thinks that week 26 was the most significant change where I was visibly pregnant to him (w/out clothes). If I tell people I am almost 7 months pregnant they simply don't believe me. Most people seem to think I look maybe 4-5 months tops. I guess I carry small b/c lots of other women (and men for that matter) tell me I look very good for how far along I am. Of course, I fully expect to puff up and out to the max as I get closer to the end! I suspect that future largeness awaits me....in a very big way!

I'm also very tiny and was showing at 12 weeks. That's when i took my first belly pic .
It's different for everyone. I still don't have an obvious bump.... although it depends on what I'm wearing. I am definitely much thicker and have a bulge... but right now I am in that in-between stage where people aren't sure if I just gained a ton of weight or pregnant.
DH and I could tell by about 15 weeks, I started wearing maternity clothes at 17 weeks, and got my first stranger comment just a couple days ago at almost 18 weeks. However it really depends on what I'm wearing if I look pregnant or if I just have a few extra pounds on me.

Real noticeable pregnant bumpage showed up around 22 weeks for me. I've always carried my extra weight in my stomach so it took a little while to round out.
eh, i guess i have a little bump now.. so i'll say 17wks, tho its still not obvious to strangers/ppl who don't know. i'm still waiting for that "pop" i keep reading about. lol
I wouldn't say I've really started to show yet. If you ran into me in the store, you would think I look normal. But if you know I'm pg, there's a little bitty bump. I can still fit into my pre-pg clothes. I think it has to do with the fact that I've got a really long torso.
Re: Question from 1st tri'er: When did you start to show?
